Default Lookee what I found at a swap meet

I usually go home empty handed from swap meets because stuff is overpriced or junk, but the first thing I saw when I walked in the door was a pair of fabricated valve covers I have been looking at for some time now.

Summit sells Moroso identical to these for an ungodly amount. I got these for less than half that, they are new but have a couple of small sratches I may or may not try and get removed.

I saw some of those in a local parts house yesterday. I was afraid to ask how much. Very nice! Bet they'll look good on your vette's motor.

those are DA SCHWIIIING!!!

I've been wanting to get a set just like that but I have height constraints because of accelerator pump rods. I see yours and angles on the sides, so can you do me a favor and measure the height of the covers? The total height and the height of the angled sections (basically a profile from a side view) ???

I have fabricated covers on mine, I think they are pretty cool looking.

About those scratches, most of the fabricated covers come with what they call "chemical" polishing, but basically it is a silver anodizing or something similar. If you want to try and sand and remove the scratches you may end up having to strip the whole cover and polishing it because if you sand one small area, you will break through the coating and you will deffinately notice it. Stripping is no big deal, some 320 grit, then 600, then 800 easily removed it, not a big deal, I did it on mine and came out nice.

Twin_Turbo -> The covers are :

3 3/4 in tall, the side angle starts a 2 3/4 in and goes up the 3 3/4 in max height.
The center max height is about 3 1/2 in wide while the whole cover is about
5 1/2 in wide.
I think you should be able to draw one with those measurements :D

Did you pick those up at the Rodmasters swap meet on the weekend? I seen a pair like those for sale there.
