mounting 6x9s in the rear
anyone know what the aprox. maximum 6x9 depth is that will fit without having to add some sort of spacer? I want to get some speakers back there, but i have to keep the original look. Thanks.

You need speakers with a shallow magnet. I will search my photo archives to see what model I used.
Here is the model.
And here are the specs.

I fit the Pioneer three way model, but had to do some cutting/altering/reinforcing of the shade brackets.

I love my Infinity Kappa 6x9s that in no way fit at all, but they sound frigging awesome.
I got the 3-way Kappas. 693.5I I believe.
