Friday I was at corvette expo and was checking out this sweet red 71. The hood was up and I noticed that there was a bolt through the hood support to keep the hood from coming down. I had never seen this or thought about doing it. Makes sense to me now.

Does anyone do this?

I use one of those climbing clips, it fits right through the hole and is easy to install. I always use it at car shows.
