Default Want to see one RARE shark? PICS

Saw this today at the Chandler Vingage Museum in Oxnard, CA...a '69 L-88 Convertible with an automatic. There were also two original Yenko cars (Camaro and Chevelle) and a few other rare muscle cars.

Sad part is w/ only 6,000miles that car isn't and will never be driven. :(

The nicest 69 L-89 convertible I saw was a triple Black side pipe one Corvette Mike had for sale for $85K just a few years ago. It was Bloomington Gold too and I shoulda, woulda and coulda and I’m still sorry I did not. It would have been a match to my other Black car.

I know they have better than the rated 435 HP, but did not think 560 HP was the value unless its just that Gold one with the Hooker side pipes. I wonder what they actually dyno at with stock equipment.

its 560 hp cause its a L88 not a L89, they were rated at 430 too :yesnod:

there is a triple black droptop 69 L88 owned by a member of the yachet club i used to work at, never got to see it though.

I've seen three of the "other" '69 L-88 automatic cars at various Bloomington & NCRS meets-one owner, who has BOTH a '69 L-88 4spd and a '69 L-88 automatic that I know says the automatic one is quicker
