Default Steeroids

Adjusted the binding out of my steeriods. Had to take the more in-depth step of loosening the 2 firewall nuts from under the dash and pushing the column toward the engine in the engine bay.

I was able to get the knuckle away from the header.

It worked. The steering is still slightly stiff, so I don't think it's exactly perfect.

Manifolds + Steeroids = No problem :yesnod:
Headers + Steeroids = :banghead: But it can be made to work

The problem is also the clutch linkage, in an auto car it's much easier...
Also my header design makes it easier too.

I sure am glad I didn't have to work around a clutch!

I'm not sure what you're talking about. When I was putting in the rack I took the Bellcrank out so it was out of the way. That involves loosening 1 bolt and removing 2 cotter pins, takes about a minute. After it's installed it doesn't even come close to interfering with the operation of the clutch.

If you guys want to see "close" I can post pictures. I've got my header dimpled to the point where the joint is about 1/8" away from the header.

:withstupid: My clutch was not an issue, but I don't have a power brake booster in the way either.

I would like to see pics, Steve.
