Default Rear Astro vent question

The vents at the rear of my convertible are rattling. With the cam that I have at idle it shakes the car some and I've traced a rattle down to the rear vent flapes. I have stuffed a small piece of rag in there and it has stopped. There feels to be some weather striping on the back side tha tis very worn out. I can't seem to find any way to get to these as the flap assembly is riveted to the car. Anybody have any experience with these. The flap works and when it is shut I get some rattling. I might be able to squeeze some weather strip in there but is there a proper way to do this.
