What product to use for re-storing Vac Actuator??
What product is out there to restore the goldish color to Vac Actuator. I plan to sand blast the rust off my Headlights and Wipper door Actuator and need to buy something to put back on it. My goal is to make it look good at this point. Thanks

Check out their "Golden Cad" system. It seems to work very well on these items, and is certainly cheaper than having them cad plated.

Jeff, I was checking them out. Now do you have to use all three colors in the kit or just buy the single can of gold cad color????

I have used the Gold Cad paint ( I think it was from Virginia Vettes). You can tell it is a paint, it doesn;t have the right look of a real plating. The three step process is suppoed to be good, but I have not tried it.

As I understand it, to get the proper multicolor sheen, you've got to use all three products. I have seen several nice 'vettes where these vac. actuators are simply painted gold, though. It's really a matter of personal preference.
