Default My Corvette Library...

Let's see your corvette libraries!

My corvette library:

This includes just the 'how to' books, parts catalogs and recent magazines; not the 'glossy picture' books.

I have about a kazillion magazines that are not shown (Vette, Chevy Hi Perf, Hot Rod, Super Chevy, Corvette Fever, Car Craft).

I photo copy or print out important articles and put them into a 3 ring binder with labeled sections, ie. engine, suspension, etc.

My favorite is the 1969 Hot Rod issue that introduces the 1970 lineup of GM cars (LS6 Chevelle for example). Picked it up at a Flea Market back in mid-80's for 25 cents. I first started buying Hot Rod around 1979 and chose to keep the magazines as a 'link' to my youth and the cars of that era. Not that the cars in 1979-1983 were killers but Hot Rod was still writing about the 60's and 70's era cars regularly. I've thought about tossing them but can't bring myself to.

25 cents?!!! I was at Carlisle one year and saw a67 hot rod with Zora on the cover and brought it for 3 bucks, went a little farther down the aisle and saw the same mag for 5 bucks,so I brought that one to,walked a little more, same mag 8 bucks, bought that sucker too! Some where someone got a good deal.I'm really not sure if it was me though! Kinda tells you something about magazine collectors, does't it? P.S. wanna buy some magazines?25 cents!!!!!!! :steering:
