Hi, if anyone has a 1978 GM service manual, i am very interested. Just bought a 1978, and found i cannot afford to pay someone to fix everything i may need fixed. Door latch broke on drivers side, and also had cd player installed, and now power antenna dont work, and also gauges, ( oil pressure and temp) are not working now. Is it possible a connection could be bad, or bad ground, or is it posssible he may have messed up circuit board behind there? Any help will greatly be appreciated. They're quite common actually. Hit the swap meets; watch ebay. For one you're actually going to use (fingerprints; a bit dirty) you should pay no more than about $20.00. The factory GM manual is by far the best. Check the web; there are quite a few dealers that sell these. they are at most major car shows with swap meets. I got mine a Chevy/Vettefest for $18.00.
