What about higher grade and aerospace quality fasteners? Where would these go to good use, and where would they be a waste?

Grade 8 has sufficient tensile strength for automotive use...Aaerospace fastners in automotive applications....overkill.

I've heard of grade 8 spring bolts breaking, surely in some racing applications they are not overkill? I'm in the planning stages of putting 600HP to the ground, so it may be more relevent to me than anyone restoring to near-stock. ;)

Possibly in racing apps...I'm not that far from 600, no problems with grade 8's
