No problem there, great drainage. I'm a little worried about not being able to set up a portable basketball goal to regulation. :jester

I have seen these before and they were supposedly from some where down in Kansas City. A buddy of mine that does concrete work just about flipped when I showed them to him. Who in there right mind would build something like that?

THAT! my friends is why there are building codes! How the local jurisdiction allowed that garbage to be built, I don't know.

The only guess that I have is they back up to some kind of dam or other flood threat. If so, what idiot would buy that (hope I am not offending anyone).

What the developer should have done is put in a retaining wall and lowered the garage down to the street level and had stairs to the living quarters.

Although it does look like a good challenge for the neighborhood kids on bikes and skateboards.

Eric.

Get ride of the driveway, dig out all the dirt, make it level, pour another but level slab, and put a car lift outside. Come home from work, drive onto the lift, remotely control the lift up and drive into the garage.    :hurray: :hurray: :hurray: :hurray: :lolg: :lolg: :lolg: :lolg:

Now you have car lift without taking up garage space. :D

man. that's hysterical. I sell concrete, and that kind of stuff happens all the time. What stinks is that it's so expensive to fix mistakes with the stuff. You'd think someone on the job would have stopped and asked "Is this really the way they want it?"

plus, the more I think about it, I wonder how they did it. Usually the finishers add so much water that all the readymix would have run into the street. :D

Thats impossible!! No way!

If this was real and not a photoshop job, I cant imagine there would be an idiot that would actually buy these properties.

You would have to excavate the grade to have a tuck under garage closer to street level and a basement under the house for entry.

Brent...
