This is a bit of a strange question, but forgive me 'cos I'm English and don't know the Nascar scene at all well :)
It turns out my 80 was once owned by a certain Larry Hollenbeck. After doing a bit of digging, I discovered that there's a Nascar driver by the same name.... After doing a bit more digging, it turns out it's actually him..

So I just wondered if Mr Hollenbeck is well known, over with you guys across the pond?? Hell, if he's an ex-vette driver he might even be on the forum! (OK, lets not get too carried away :) )

Well theres a larry hollenbeck that races in the arca series and the busch series.

Well it sounds like the guy in question. We have next to no coverage of Nascar over here on our 5 basic UK TV channels, so I'm not V. clued up on that scene. Its nice to put your car's history together, so I'll be trying to get in touch with him..

All I know is Larry Hollenbeck is the name on the owner's certificate that I have amongst all the other documents. After finding out there was a Nascar driver of the same name, I did a bit of research and contacted Mr Hollenbecks team manager, describing the car etc. (Thought it was a long shot, but worth a try!) He confirmed that this is the same guy, and gave me a contact phone #, which I've yet to try. So either he was yanking my chain, or not. The address on the owner's cert. is very close to the location given as Mr Hollenbecks home town on one of the Nascar websites.
I'll be getting in touch with him soon, but just wondered if anyone on the forum had heard of the guy.....

I think it is legit, do a google search on his name and you will find he ran in the BGN series in 2003 and 2004. May not be running in all races.
