Can any one tell me how to remove the glove box lock for replacement.

There is a website that has it with pictures, I'll look for it. But the way to do it is on the right side (pass. sise) there is a slot, insert a eye glass screwdriver in the slot and pull the tumbler out at the same time. You may feel 5 clicks, that's the 5 things that you are pressing in to release the tumbler.
