OT- Why do I insist on visiting OT?
I swear everytime I go over there and read some of these posts I get angered. Some real good guys and some real poopie bags over there. Apears they feed off of other's pain and or getting someone pissed via their ramblings, mosty of it inflamitory, anti-God, anti-establishment typical :troll stuff.
I know why do I go then?? Not sure self-torture.... :jester
Sticking to C-3.

I don't know....I read some pretty deep philosophical stuff there, like
"I pee in teh shower".
It's kind of like a car crash; you don't want to look, but can't help yourself.

Here is the standard OT response: If you don't like it, don't read it.
There is a Politics and religion section on the board for threads like that. Sometimes they squeak by in OT.
I spend most of my time in OT for the humor. You gotta have some pretty thick skin to hang out there. I can get angered or upset by some posts, but I have learned to just blow them off and move on. It just isn't worth getting upset over there.

The intellect is certainly at a different level there...
It's all tongue in cheeck anyway, and everything said should be taken with a grain of salt, though some posters are quite **** in their beliefs. The post about the comparison between Stern and Christian programming, only thing I can say about the guy making that statement....I'm glad I don't have to deal with him in every day life, and I pity the poor people that do....

I don't spend a lot of time in OT, but when I do, it's always good for a laugh. But I'm a pretty easy going guy. I come here for entertainment, and I allow people their opinions (as if any of us have a choice). That's all.

GDaina kept up quite the fight but I guess I let these people's ramblings get my pissed becuase simply I can't relate. Never done drugs, never a perv so it's all foreign to me. Yep there's some seriously good humor obviously wireless comes to mind but all in all your right I should'nt get twirked over some stupid forum.

I tend to shy away from OT on this site. I come to this forum to discuss C3 technical issues, and go to other corvette forums for OT discussions.

I posted once on the question of heating oil vrs natural gas. Got flamed (second bad pun of today). The university ritual of a Bic lighter, chili and beer, three hours later, did not constitute a reasoned or useful response. Although it brought back memories! Brings a whole new meaning to a Blue Flame engine.

OT is living proof that even though we own vettes, not all of us see things even remotely the same :seeya Couldn't have said it better. If you think OT is bad, hang out in PR&C. If you don't bow down to the altar of GWB, you get dog-piled. There is even less respect in that forum for counter-beliefs. I used to post on certain threads, now I can't stand to read them. That is why I stay out of PR&C. OT is funny though.
