Default idea stolen from the c5r team

well i was taking a break from working on the vette and noticed that two 4inch or so round headlights/foglamps would fit nicely where the front license plate goes...the area is even recessed... what do ya'll think.....

it would certainly help my anemic lighting situation...

It would look

It's been done on some early SCCA cars where the headlight doors are 'fixed' and the only lighting is from 2 center lights in the license plate area. I can't seem to locate the picture, though. :skep:

Last time I checked...nothing was available for our headlight systems? When did Sylvania make the Xenon available?

I have a setup that hangs right there made of two Police spotlights! Hooks to the highbeams and is almost unusable it's so bright. I'll take a picture...

Well,it all begun when i read a Tech WriteUp made by 71`airstrike (thanks for the support Chad  )Heres his write up on his HiD Conversion.. https://www.corvetteforum.com/techti...=225&TopicID=1

I got a kit of Ebay with H4 bulbs because i allready had H4 headlights (European conversion). The installment went fairly easy but it requires some cutting and planning. But i`m very happy with the result

Where would you mount your front license plate. You are running TX plates aren't you?

There is a pic in 'how to restore your 1968-1982 vette" that has twin lights in the front licence plate area.
