1970 Corvette Registry Milestone - 1000 Corvettes!
FYI - I now have a '70 Registry e-mail announcement list on Yahoo. The purpose of this list is for notice of registry website updates and the occasional request for specific car data for the research section of the registry website (for example, the glass survey that Erv conducted). http://groups.yahoo.com/group/70CR
Time for the cool news.... We have finally broken the 1,000 Car mark! As of tonight, we have 1002 1970 Corvettes registered and in the database. It's hard to imagine that it has been almost 4 years since the registry started (May 2000). It's even harder to imagine that I've had my '70 for over 4 years and it's *still* a work in progress!! <ggg>
I've just updated the online databases. I'll send out another e-mail after the composite statistics have been updated. Don Ferguson has been helping the past few years with that portion of the database and I'd like to publically thank him for all his efforts. :)
Thanks for all your support, the invaluable help locating 1970 Corvettes and all the words of encouragement! This really is a group effort. :) ~Juliet

Wow, What a nice site. I had no idea there were so many Corvettes in Finnland. No wonder we can't find many nice C3's here... They are all in Finnland.

Hey guys, Thanks. :) Hi everyone, long time no speak. :p Mark - Yup, already doing that. :D eBay with a grain of salt is another resource of information. That's why there are a blanks in the database - where we weren't able to verify original equipment and engines etc... Paul - You still working like a dog weekends or have play time again? Coming to our chapter meet this weekend? The C4 is running just fine - haven't had a single problem with Victor Smiley. :) I haven't been on CF or NCRS or anywhere for that matter last few months. I've been busy with other things. It's time for me to get back into the corvette groove here though and get some projects going on the shark. NCRS is now judging 87-88 so I need to get the C4 cleaned up to get it judged sometime soon too. It ought to be interesting to see how he does - considering he's got 141k miles! :jester This past winter was kind of hard on his ragtop (it's the original top, I think, with a replaced rear window) and paint (that's original too and starting to really show it now) so I've got some serious elbow grease to put in to spiff him up for the season. :yesnod: ~Juliet

1000 !! Woohooo ... pretty good for a low build year.
I'm happy, but I don't feel special anymore. 999 other 70's.

Juliet,
How is your hubby's mid-year project progressing? Is he posting updates to the C2 forum?
Have you gotten the C3 out for 'Spring' yet in MD?
