BG demon gurus. HELP!
I just started my motor for the first time and it started right up but I cannot get the floats to rise on both the primaries and secondaries. I loosen the locking screw and turn the nut counterclockwise but the level does not rise. Should the nut be real loose? It seems to just turn under the locking screw as if it is not attached to anything. Any help is welcome.
Oh by the way, I have a BG speed demon 750

I would first remove the needle and seat and look for any debris, binding.
I found a chunk of aluminum stuck in my last Might Demon needle/seat.
If everything checks out remove the float bowl, turns it on its top and check the float level that way. :)

holleys sometimes have that problem. sometimes the nuts dont grab the screw. try taking the nut off, flip it unside down and try moving the float up. Put it all back together before you try starting the car. not sure how similar the demons are with holleys but. you could always try.

the needle/seat have been screwed out of the adjustment nut. with the engine off and no fuel pressure remove the lock screw completely, remover the adjustment nut, remove the gasket from the nut or float bowl, which ever one it is on and then put the adjustment nut back on the needle/seat and turn it counter clockwise to get it back up far enought the nut with the gasket attached will allow you to turn the needle/seat. :chevy
