Default stainless steel brake calipers go bad after no use?

Well we finally put in an order to van steel for all of the suspesions parts and we remembered that a number of years ago we bought some stainless steel brake calipers from Zip Corvettes, they have been sitting for all these years and i was wondering if we would be able to use them or what? if not can we rebuild them in some way?

Thanks guys...

I would imagine if they have never been used they should be good to go. If you have any doubts call Zip and ask them.

I would think they would be good, but worst case is they will need new rubber. You can get rebuilt kits at autozone pretty cheap and it only takes 15 - 20 minutes

If you rebuild them now or any time in the future, do yourself a big favor and get the o-ring conversion kits. Stainless steel calipers or not, the factory lip seals totally suck. I could never keep the air out of my calipers untill I converted to 0-rings. Best thing I ever did for my brakes.
