Default WooHoo!

Picked up the '79 this weekend.
Already started working on her.
I'll post pics very soon.

It's a L-82 4sp with spoilers, many options including glass tops and CB.
24000 miles. Dark Blue with Blue Leather.

I've got some work to do as it had been sitting for some time.
I already have had the carb apart (650 DP Holley) and had to clean the accelerator pumps as they were clogged. Had the distributer apart as it was rusted and gummed up inside.

I've got a bit of work to do to get her up to snuff, but; not much. Mostly from sitting for years and a few jury rigs under the hood.

My first vette and I'm pumped!!!!

:hurray: :hurray:

I'll have some questions coming soon on some items that I'm not sure about.

It supposedly has 2 alarms, 1 factory and 1 aftermarket that I'll have to inquire about.

Look forward to the fun!

Congrats on the new vette. I am looking forward to seeing your vette. It sounds like you made a good score with the 79. Happens to be one of my favorite years also.
