A bumper that is too wide is alot more work than one that is too narrow. The only way to make it fit is to build out the fenders if you are painting the whole car, or if not you will have to cut a little out of the middle and glass it back together. Either way it is alot of work. You may want to return it and try another brand. Good Luck, Craig

Why did you go with the fiberglass one? I'm just wondering? My dad here a few years ago at Sheaffer-Weary Chevy picked up a factory orginal rubber bumper. We havent put it on yet because we are waiting till we can afford a new paint job on the entire car. If you want pics I can get some for you

with my 73 the new nose did not fit well on trial fit either .This is normally the case .You may not want to hear this but the body shop who installed mine actually sectioned the nose in the middle ; installed and reglassed .Good luck .

I had to fit mine somewhat also. One side fit almost perfect, while the other seemed to be 3/16" narrow. I had to build up the glass on that side of the nose. It's worth it though because it will look so much better when you're done.
