Default 1969 seatbelt switch

Pushed the seatbelt button in to deactivate the light and the button with spring came right out! How does it connect back in? Is there some fastener that is now lost in the dash I need to root around for? I can't find the assembly in the AIM or any of my shop manuals. Thanks.

There is a little spring and retainer that hold everthing together. Mine had a burnt out bulb. there are a couple of cataloques from Parts houses that show how it looks but you need to take the instrument cluster out to fix it.
