Re: Is there a way to reform weather stripping. T-tops (Budman78)
Mine did the same!!
Next time I'll take the t-top pad off, and remove the two pins (or whatever you call them that go into the T-bar) and put the top back on then install the pins. I also heard to put powder on the t-bar so they would slide on easier.
Any other suggestions??

Is there a way to reform weather stripping. T-tops
I see why one of my t-tops is all jacked up. It looks like the weather stripping over the t bar is not flat. Instead it is compresses vertically. How can I flatten it out?

Hope there is - as when I changed the weather stripping the t-tops were not exactly aligned and the rubber set in that manner. Now no matter what you do the alignment seems not to take.

I had the same issue. I removed the t-top. Added some additional weatherstrip adhesive and clamped it flat for several hours. I clamped the stripping down with those little plastic spring loaded hand clamps. They have rubber feet so I wasnt worried about scratching the paint.
This worked for me.
When complete, use lots of weatherstrip lubricant so the strip will not get hung up on the chrome.
