Looking for a chromer in the Mid-South area.
I live near Memphis and was wondering if anyone has a good re-chromer that they would recommend. I need my valve cover on my 69 done. They are good cores with only surface rust, no bad pitting that I can see.

There is a plater located in Florence Alabama. I had some parts chrome plated there on my Yamaha twin jet 100 when I was 15 years old. :D

I would try talking to the bike shop there in Somerville (Hawkins?) Not positive of the name, but its right there on the left, before you get to the court house. I'm sure he would know a good plater in the area.
Alot of my family lives in/around Somerville, I get over that way quite abit, I live in Mason.

Thanks Older Than Dirt, that is perfect. They are close enough for me to drive and drop parts off.

I have used Memphis Plating before, with good results. They do all the plating for the Boss Hog V-8 bikes.I've always had good results, just be sure to explain what level of chroming you want. The show quality is a little higher with more preparation given to the part vs. the stock factory chrome. Some people don't like them, but again, they have always done good work for me.
