Default 81 Radiator Question

My radiator is original and looks terrible inside. I was wondering if I should remove it and have it cleaned or just buy a new one. Money IS an option so which would be cheaper? Is there a way to have it professionally cleaned and tested? Thanks in advance. :seeya

I would pull it out and have it rodded. If it isn't sound the radiator shop will tell you. My .02 cents. :seeya

Either way it has to come out. Take it to a good radiator shop and let them advise if it cam be boiled and redded out and pressure checked and repaired if needed. If it can and is a 4 core, then you will be ahead.
