I should look into having them appraise mine, not sure though why everyone gets messed up with prices of our C3's unless they are looking into buying one. For me the higher they go the better.

The car is a 70. It is supposed to have a 454. The side exhaust is a 69 only option. There are nice though.. 51K sounds about right if it is a matching numbers car.

Larry, do you mean it sounds about right for a '70 big block vert or that it sounds about right for one at Barrett-Jackson? Seems steepish to me for a car they describe as "partially restored," though it is about as clean a C3 as I've ever seen. Wonder what the milage on it is & what "partially restored" means exactly? If it's an actual frame off, with an engine rebuilt and all new wear parts, I'd agree it's worth at least $40K.

My car looks almost that good (in my totally unbiased opinion :D ). I'll sell it at a discount from that auction for the first person to pony up $41K. Heck, I'll even throw in my daily driver to boot ('82 Chevy pickup).

For $51,000 you'd think it'd have something better than a botched in incorrect fuel filter with rubber hoses :lolg:
