Anybody interested in solid rear axle coversion MUST SEE THIS -->
Read it in Super Chevy magazine, it's a completely bolt-in rear subframe kit for first gen Novas. I would choose coilovers instead of airbags :smash:
I think this also can be done to C3s! What do you think???????
Any chasis builder interested ?? ;) ;)
It even comes with this neat panhard bar

Not really my style, IRS was put into corvettes because it is better than solid rear end. I'm more interested in driving on real roads than going straight down a drag strip. Looks nice though.

but the stock IRS is just too weak
Why is the stock IRS too weak. I ran one in my nitrous bigblock all it's life without a problem even with the slicks. I did twist axles but other then that never broke anything and I have alot of horsepower.
I am just not dropping a clutch, the automatic was easier on it.
Most will never need anthing but the stock rearend.
