Default Help with Rally Wheels

I'm very interested in putting some 5 or 6 inch rally wheels on the front of my Corvette. Its a '79 and I do a bit of drag racing and would love to put a skinner wheel up front without giving up the stock look. Has anybody ever tried any of the 5 or 6 inch wheels on their Corvette. Any tips on backspacing for the front would be appreciated.

Thanks

Default Re: Help with Rally Wheels (Indynut)

The early Camaro ralleys (15X7") look very similar and will fit on the front. They have 4'' back spacing. The Summit catalog shows some 15X6 ralleys with 3-1/2" backspacing. The 3-1/2" might have some interference problems with the brake caliper. A spacer might work, but can't say for sure.
