Most of front suspension in place
EDIT: My frame is hanging upside down from the garage rafters. All the parts
are mounted properly ... I think.
I've been cleaning and painting parts like crazy. Finally, I have put some
of them into place ... just need to find a few washers and coil springs to
start torquing everything down.
I decided to go with a "black and gold" color theme. If the hardware isn't
new grade8 with the goldish plating, then I'm painting the hardware gold.
She's gonna look sweet fron the bottom.
Next up ...

Looks nice. I'm going through the same thing right now. I POR-15'd just about the whole chassis and installed a VB&P Monospring conversion with the offset upper control arms. On the rear I cut out the trailing and I'm waiting for a pair of Van Steel offset units to install. I hope to be done within the next 2 weeks but if I don't stop the while I'm at it stuff I may never get it done. :banghead:

Have fun ...specially w/14 inches of WHITE stuff on the way...are you rebuilding your spindles or just throwing them on ? I have a spindle bearing setup tool if you need one..I had way too much fun rebuilding mine the first year I had my Vette, didnt know how much of a pita that it was took me a couple of tries and a couple sets of bearings not knowing what I was into but its been good since

Forget it your frame is upside down. Knew it didn't look right.

Thanks Norval.
Packy - The rear bearings are rebuilt VanSteel units that I put on the 75 a few years back.
So, they will only need a cleaning and painting.
I just wheeled the differential in from the snow to clean up, too.
Stewart, Yes - I hope to slap the crappy looking body on the nice chassis for driving in about 2 months.
Al - It can draw out forever. That's why I decided to get the chassis nice and leave the body for next winter.
Mikee, Since the car will be black, it was either gold or silver for the accents. I had to go with my school colors.

Nah ... still looks like piles of pieces everywhere.
I'l be happy when I can roll the chassis out of the garage on it's own wheels.

Looks good Dave, but I would cover up those front spindles to keep them from getting banged up.
