Is this sticker original?
I found this sticker hanging in my engine compartment, attached to heater box. First I thought it was just a bubbas piece of aluminium tape, but then I noticed that there is text on it. I gently tried to clean it and this is the best I could do... It clearly says:
Harrison
General Motors corp. Lockport, N.Y.
Air conditioning
A-70??? SAE J639
Is this sticker original or is it some repairement shop sticker? I'm a bit confused because it says GM in there...
Anybody have any clue?

Re: Is this sticker original? (hunt4cleanair)
Thanks for the info guys!
Thanks for the compliments!
Infact A/C compressor is long gone and I'm going to take away also the rest of A/C stuff, they are just additional weight in my car... It doesn't get that hot in here even at the summertime... If it's too hot taking the T-tops away will do the trick...
PS. I found that at least Corvette America has those aluminium foil stickers for sale as reproduction... I don't need one though... :smash:
Beautiful picture with snow in back ground of that gorgeous Vet...but what do you need with A/C in Finland? :)

Nice to see a home town sticker (Lockport is a short ride from Buffalo, NY) all the way over in Finland!!!
Harrison has supplied radiators for GM for a long time...

I don't think that is a compressor sticker. I think it is off the Evaporator box or the Evaporator itself. The compressor sticker has charge and oil information and is green and red I think.

Re: Is this sticker original? (77BuffaloVet)
77BuffaloVet: The sticker has made a long journey from Lockport to sunny California and from there to Finland!
Markdtn, verskel and PatG: The sticker was hanging on firewall, so I thought is wasn't coming from the compressor. This car didn't even have the A/C compressor when I bought it...
Anyway, now I know one sticker more about Corvette history! Thanks everyone for the answers!
