Pic of my weekend cruise
......I reckon Vettes look good even on a trailer...... :)
The Story........a few weeks ago, I thought I had a blown head gasket (or worse) on a newly rebuilt engine....it ran so bad I couldn't even back it out of the drive.....so I thought it was time to send it back to the mechanic.......
......turns out that Corvettes don't have a choke (at least mine doesn't), but my Holley has provision for one......and it was Bubba wired closed......I unknowingly broke the wire when I was replacing the temp sender......so all I was doing was flooding the engine :bb
BTW, in the past year my Vette has been off the road more than on......I think I'm becoming addicted to the anticipation of it coming back.....so much so I think I'll throw it back on the trailer in a few weeks just for the heck of it.... :)
Anybody else suffer from Anticipation Addiction??????

Re: Pic of my weekend cruise (standup)
My first woodward dream cruise in detroit, overheated and blew the gasket on the water pump. Had a good view of the cruise from the cab of the trailer!

OH yeah, I could go on and on about my car beingin the shop more than in my garage. I had a frame-on restoration done last year and all the return trips to the motor guys - the paint guys - and the interior (rest of stuff) guys.
It is a never ending story, and each time it goes out it comes back with more surface scratches in the clearcoat....UGH!
Oh well, I think it is finally there now, where i want it to be , getting a final buffing next week then good to go for Spring season, i think-

Ask any of my neighbors. Better than the sight of first snow, better than the sight of Spring or Summer, or rainbows, better than the sight of pretty birds in their feeders or bunnys and puppy dogs playing together, better than the sight of cuddly kittens drinking milk...
My neighbors freaking love the sight of one of my cars being flat bedded out of my driveway. If the trailer ride is because I did something stupid, all the better. Bastards.
For them, I'm sure, the only sight that could compare, would be if my house was on fire. And I'm actually a good guy. :lolg:
