Followed that build up for years and he barely got it running and now I haven't heard or seen anything about it for some time now, anyone know anything about it ?

Actually he did. He made one post (that I know of) then was never heard from again.

Did the new owner ever get it running right? The motor has potenial but last I heard it wasn't cutting it. :nonod:

He sold it to a forum member who is near the Minnesota/South Dakota border. The name was 58PanamaYellow I think or something pretty close to that.

Dalannex (forum member) has posted some shots of the car in this guys garage. It sits with a few other vettes so it has company :jester He said the new owner was going to finish tuning the car if I remember correctly.

Hoping to see it in person someday. It might make an appearance at the Black Hills Classic show or even a show in the Minneapolis area.

It does seem strange that he took down the website. He could have at least moved it to the corvette forum. Maybe if someone has his email address they can ask him to put the site back up, or let one of us do it. All that work was so well documented. It's a shame to see it go away.

Perhaps the new owner of the car doesn't want it posted.

Ok Ok....Somebody down the street from me purchased it. I don't think it will be street legal when they are done with it. From what I have heard it is being converted to a drag car. Not 100% sure though, all second hand info, but from a reliable source.

Guys the way I feel about it is that he never reached ANY of his goals with the car. The motor was a disaster. Overheated almost immediatley, didn;t run right. He didn't build the car, he paid for it.
The next owner had alot of work done to get it to run right and from one of the other posts he is turning it into a drag car.
Monty on the other hand did almost everything himself. He got his hands dirty. I have alot more respect for Monty.
Just my thoughts. I have earn them.
