Left and Right are in terms of the driver sitting in the seat... Right is passenger side, left is driver's side.

Just so you know...the shop manual calls for left side first...I know it sounds wrong but it states right side first except for corvttes...I have a '78 shop manual.

LR = Left Rear = driver's side in USA.

Make sure you bleed per the Chevy shop manual! Most cars the order is farthest to closet to master cylinder, but the C3 is very different. I could not get a good bleed until I followed the shop manual. Once I ran the proper order, the brakes were hard as a rock.

Thanks for the responses.Sounds like an easy question, but it is a matter of perspective, if you are standing in front of the car, or sitting in the car.
Left is drivers side, right is passenger side.

Proper bleed order is LF, RF, LR, RR. It's almost opposite of what sounds logical. This is the procedure recommended by my 74 manual.
