Shield over inner door lock? Is it still made?
Replaced door locks today and noticed that on the Rt door I have part of this shield and on the Lt it's missing. Does anyone know what it does and if it's still made? It's #6 on the diagram.

You may run into some trouble finding it anymore brand new.
I needed one for my 69 about a month or so ago and could not locate it from any of the vendors.
I called Gary Gruhala up and he took care of me.
