Default My Next Project-Gauges

I don't look forward to this one but I will give that gauge cluster a try. I set the odometer where the old one stopped. The oil pressure line concerns me: make a mistake and the interior fills with oil. The first step will to get the **** (aka CA) stereo out of there. I have rebuilt the original AM/FM radio face and it will go back in cold for appearance. A Pioneer 50W x 4 unit is going into the glovebox for some reasonable sound. Stay tuned (bad pun I know).

This is my mock-up for the Pioneer install. The second pic shows another possibility.

The new gauges look good.

My friend Jim has a '69 vert and his radio wasn't working well. He pulled it out to check it out.

He was amazed on how much oil it held.

:seeya Jeff

{edit} I prefer the first radio mock up. It still gives you some room for "stuff"

Jeff,
Thanks. I have to work that one out. The back of the stereo may hit the windshield wiper linkages. But I do think it is doable.

It's snowing again today. Have to play with something.

Even the cat is bored.
