Default Rear ride height

I have a 71 with a composite rear spring. The passenger side as measured from the ground to the rear wheel well edge through the center of the rear axle is 29". On the driver's side it measures 28". How do I raise the driver's side 1"? The real problem is I'm 6' 4" and weigh 260, and that makes the driver's side dip even more when I'm driving. I'd like it to at least start out level! :smash:
Thanks.

By turning the spring mounting bolt on each side you adjust ride height. To increase height tighten the bolt.

I would begin by checking the frame height first. The measurement at the wheel well is affected by the suspension and the mounting of the body on the frame. You do not want to offset the frame to make the body ride even. Once the frame is set equal on both sides using spring adjustment the body can be leveled with shims at the body mount locations.
