Help Please, I think I found the short circuit, now what?
I put a test light between the neg. post on batt. and neg. cable.
Test light came on bright with everything off and doors closed.
Started pulling fuses, when I pulled out the one marked 'Ctsy-Clk'
the test light went out. I am guessing it is the courtesy ligths
and clock fuse????
Now what do I do to fix it???
Do I have to replace somekind of relay???
If so which one and where is it??
TIA

One of the door light switches in each door jamb might be bad. Remove and disconnect and see if that helps. NexT there's the dome light and the visor lights plus the delay interior lights switch which i believe is in the console? Not sure, it might be shorting out. Work backwards with each light/function to find the one that's got the short.

Hi, Maybe you should also check the cigarette lighter, I think that is fused with the clock/courtesy circuit. Peace,,,,,, good luck, Craig :seeya

Likely the clock. Does you clock work? If not, the points in the electromechanical re-wind mechanism might be fused together, causing your battery drain. Try disconnecting the clock. Chuck
