I will install the weather-stripping on my doors today and was wondering if anyone had some good advice to getting this 7' piece of rubber on the door?
Thanks!

I just worked about 1 foot at a time. Brushed on the adhesive, layed in the weatherstripping. Work steady...but don't stop, cause if your W/stripping is too long at the end you'll have to slide it back some...and if it's short, you'll have to stretch it before the adhesive sets up. Keeping your hands clean and NOT using too much adhesive is key to a "clean" professional looking job.

The black adhesive belnds better with the weatherstrips, but the yellow is factory correct. As sais, don't overuse it and wear latex gloves so your hands don't get full of adhesive.

The way I install weatherstrip is to attach the ends with screws and tape down the sides every foot or so first. This allows you to have the length just right without having to stretch it later when you are nearing the end. I start the glueing at the middle of the bottom and work out. When you start to go up then remove the screws and complete that side and then go to the bottom and do the other side. This worked well for me. I prefer the look of black adhesive. Craig :chevy
