Default Who sells shorter rear springs?

Looking to lower my car and need a shorter rear spring. Who carries them? Are the shorter ones only available in steel or are there composite ones too?

Um, you can just get longer spring bolts if lowering is what you're concerned about.

If you need a narrower spring, VBP and Van Steel can accomodate you.

Shorter rear springs?

:lolg: :lolg:

I know what you meant but it's still funny. Use VB bolts for $25 and you'll be lowered like my car in pic. below

Maybe I should explain so I don't come across as ignorant.

I have 18x9.5" rims on the back of my car and the ends of the spring sit inside the wheel. If I go with longer 8" bolts, then the tire will rub the spring. I am looking for a narrowed or shorter leaf to bring the mounting points of the bolts in away from the tires.

I don't see anything in my VB catalog for that but will look on-line.

Thanks, Cali

I know that Guldstrand has one, but there stuff is so overpriced. I will check with Van Steel.

Yeah, VBP and Van Steel both should offer narrower rear springs...

Yes and either one can build you a custom spring to your specs. :seeya And custom does not always equate to expensive.
