Hey where can I find a halfway decent......
Waterpump for my 81? The autozone special has lasted me a whole year. Wow. I've heard people talking about better pumps, but where can you find them?
I'm not too concerned with higher flow or anything like that, I just want one that will last me for a long time, I frequently take long road trips

I've had better luck with NAPA water pumps and fuel pumps than either AutoZone or Advance Auto. NAPA is generally a little higher, but, the quality just seems to be a little better also.

Many times, the waterpump is not at fault. Your fan may be imbalanced ..
or belt was installed too tight ... or both.
The dealer will have the best part (new GM).

I bought a new fan clutch on the way home from Nashville, and I noticed the wobble when I got home. I know they will warranty the clutch, any chance they will do the same on the waterpump?
How much do they want for the Edelbrock?
