Default Metal To Fiberglass Bonding

Hey there guys. What product do you recomend to bond the upper nose brace to the fiberglass. I'm refering to the metal cross brace, up under the nose that the entire headlight assembly fastens to. Seems mine has pulled away from the fiberglass and the headlight doors will not adjust properly anymore.

A tube of 3M 5200 would do the trick.

The 3M 2-part flexible adhesives are great, but I didn't want to shell out the
extra $ (almost $100) for the gun to use it.

I opted for a single part polyurethane adhesive from Home Depot (tube on top).
The black stuff seals up the glass/metal seams to the birdcage nicely.

Eddie, Bairs suggested I use 3M Superfast Eurathane. Available in tubes @ Advance Auto. $9 each.
I bonded mine over 2 years ago with zero problems.

Poliurethane from SIKKA worked form me, look for the metal tubes the plastic ones usually have silicones (big NO NO) silicones will rust bonded metal parts

Thanks for all the replies guys.... Problem is...the upper brace pulled away from the body, (bubba before me did a crap job of bonding) making the headlight assemblies hang too low...thus, chipping my new paint when they open. :mad :mad :mad
A-bonding I will go tonight!!! :D :D
Thanks again
Eddie
