Uh oh... The sun came out... PICS! :D
And so did the vette. got some new pics for ya. nothing too diffrent from the last time i posted some. but i got these right before dusk. so the lighting made my paint freak out. :D
Ill answer a couple questions now...
The blue stuff is sound deadener.
it has no interior because a roll cage is going in there and im broke. ergo, no roll cage :(
The cage will be painted to match the body
the mirrors have some flaws in the paint. i was going to re-paint them, but i may just throw em on. who knows.
Anyway...
if you dont know, my dad and i did the paint-job last may. we still havent wet sanded and buffed it, but it still looks good from 6ft. :D swirl marks are from the rag i cleaned it with. i havent even washed it since painting. Never wet-sanded or buffed it either as you can tell
And yea i know. it needs wheels and a Drop bad. I am currently accepting donations.:D

i think about it alot :D but the 3" adapters have decided not to appear under my pillow. and i knocked out all my teeth for the adapter fairy  :jester
no im broke as a joke right now, and ive recently become unemployed, so i cant afford $250 in adapters or id already have em on. id pay for the adapters just to see if they looked good. knowing that im eventually going to get some Intro 18"ers for it. i am thinking about cutting a coil off the front, and just getting longer spring bolts for the back though.
actually... i wonder if anyone on the forum would buy my 15" wheels with tires... that would be an easy way to get the Z06s on there. hrm... :hat

Dude, your car looks great! Keep up the good work, and don't worry how long it takes. For me, I just got the car and that pretty much took care of all my money. However I do need to replace the interior and that will then totally wipe me out. I will be happy with the way she looks and feel good driving her too! So don't worry about how long it takes, cause you will get there.

Nice looking car. As far as broke goes, I have a daughter getting ready for college. There goes my Corvette money for four years. Hang in there, things will get better.

Ben, your car looks pretty good right now. While you are having a hard time employment wise, right now would be the time to do a little wet sanding. If you can get it inside where it is warm enough not to freeze your fingers off.

Thanks!Yes thats the major problem right now. no place to do it and no money for paper. that stuff gets expensive. its only getting to about 60 degrees here and it only stays there for oh... 2-3 hours. when i sand i like to blow a whole day on it so it only wastes 2-3 days. the reason i do it like that is because if i only sand for 2-3 hours i feel just like i would if i spent 8 hours on it.

Sweet paint, Ben.
Sucks you're unemployed right now.
Keep pluggin' - you'll make it.

WoW! very nice looking!! if you don't mind my asking, how much did it cost you to do this? I've been thinking about painting my vette for a long time.
Once again, nice job!
