Atsa 'bout right, but will probably touch $18k by auction end (based on recent E-Bay over-priced buying binges).

I thought same becuase even though it says frame-off the condition say good not great or new. the chrome looks faded as does the interior.

Read more carefully-------"Frame-Up Restoration"
I'm not sure exactly what that is supposed to mean....but I'm pretty sure that it does not mean Frame-off (judging by the pictures at least). If it hasnt had a frame off resto, I'd think that that price is almost a little high.

Its your money dood, do what you thinks right.
If you think it's worth 16, pay 16. If you think it's worth more.......bid up until you think it's overpriced.
So long as your satisfied thats all that matters :D
You don't ask your mates out on a date to get a "majority ruling" on a piece of flesh that you might have your eye on....do you??
At the end of the day it's your car dood.....buy and enjoy :)
Also, grill the owner maybe?

PS:i've had some beer, so some of this may not make sense......to me...

It sounds pretty good. If all is true, If the air filter is any indication of his care and maintance I would be careful.

Dop't think that's a frame "off".... just a standard frame-on resto. It's in good shape.... but it would seem if you're really gonna restore it, why not spend the bucks on a new shifter plate and the like?
Anyway.... my rule of thumb is not to ask the members here if something is overpriced... :D ... as I've almost never seen anyone say something posted on Ebay wasn't.
If you want it... go for it. Looks like a sweet ride to me... if I ever sell my '79... that car is almost exactly what I'd look to get.

That's not a frame-off! I would be hard pressed to even consider it a restoration. In fact if you scroll to the bottom it says to place any bid over $15K you need to be prequalified by giving up a credit card number (or maybe some other credit info?)! :bs :bs :bs :bs :bs :bs
I'd stay away from this one! Far, far away!
I would never give up that kind of info to a seller!!! I don't care if he lived down the street from me. The only thing a seller needs to know is the day and time that I'll hand him the cashier's check. The credit info is for me and my banker to know ONLY!
