Default New addition to the family

I normally don't post over here too often, but I may be doing it more in the future. My father-in-law finally bought the corvette he's been looking for. this will be his 4th, but probably 15 years since his last one. Here's a link to the car.

I haven't seen it yet, but I can't wait to check it out!

Cool. It's good to have you posting in the C3 section...

That's a nice ride. Hopefully your father-in-law is like mine -- his feeling is "I buy, you drive."

Tragically, my F-I-L sold all his Corvettes long before I married his daughter. If I recall correctly, he had a '58, two '59s, two '60s, a '61, a '68 427/390 roadster, a '72 -- all bought used and restored...plus a early production '84 he got new...after that he vowed never to buy another Vette!

Now he just has his '65 Impala SS convertible (he bought new,) a '48 Lincoln Continental Cabriolet and a '67 El Camino.

I would love to have one. To me, whenever someone mentions a corvette, a picture of a C3 pops in my head before any other kind. I plan on purchasing another vette probably in a couple of years. Still undecided on what year, I would love to have a 427 or 454.
