Default Re-install of torque bolts?

I've been curious for a while now concerning removal of torque bolts. For example an intake manifold, during installation you apply a certain amount of torque in a certain sequence around the intake. Lets say you have to remove a bolt or two a couple months later to add thread sealant to seal a oil leak. Should you loosen all the other bolts and re-torque with correct sequence or is it all right to just install and re-torque the single bolt with-out touching the others?

Default Re: Re-install of torque bolts? (82zoom)

Just one bolt, torque it back. Two bolts, roll the dice. Three sequential bolts at once and I'd pull the intake and do them all. Maybe not on an iron intake, but definately on aluminum.
