Default etching primer vs primer filler

what is the difference between etching primer and spot filler primer? wich one is better to protect against paint bleeding into body work that has been done,?

Neither.
Etching primer is used to get good adhesion to METAL...

Scratch filler / spot filler primer is used to fill in small scratches before the 2 part epoxy non sandable primer.

Use a sealer to seal bodywork

Primer filler is a primer you use when you want to sand and reprime for super strait body panels.(LOTS of work, but worth it)

Neither will do a dern thing for sealing the body. Remember, chemical preparation begins before the first inch of sand paper touches the car.
