I am converting a 74 Corvette to an electric tach from 75. Can anyone help me with the 3 connections on the back of the tach. I am sure that there is a 12 volt, ground and tach wire but dont know which is which.
Thanks for your help.

Re: C3 electric tach conversion (GS023)
I'll be doing this soon (converting to an electronic tach of some sort). What are you using as the signal to power the tach? Do you think I can take the electronic mechanism out of a '75 unit and fit into an older ('70) type tach mounting?

It dropped right in the 74 no problem. The font on the numbers is slightly different. Have not hooked it up yet to se if it will work. On the 70 you should hook the tach lead to the coil.
