Default Removable crossmember pic

I finally got the brackets welded onto the cross member. Thanks to a fellow forum member 73jst4fun. The cross member fits perfectly and is very easy to remove and install. It just hangs on the angle brackets. I only need the 3/8 bolts to secure the whole member in place. It is rock solid once everything is tight. If time permits I should be running this weekend with the new Tremec installed.

Looking good. That will make the tranny install easier. Looking forward to hearing your impressions of the new tranny.

Pat, I'm helping him with his motor install so he "paid me back" for the help. You are busy with your own project. The flares and paint look good so far. Thanks anyway, I might need you in the future. :D

Is that bolt as diagonal as it looks?

Looks great, can't wait to get a 5-speed myself!

Looking good so far.

I just received my Tremec last week from Keisler. Install is Monday, March 15. Can't wait to join the 5-speed crowd.

The bolt that is on an angle is the bolt that goes through the part of the frame that is still attached to the car. It will be straight when it passes through the frame. It is just dangling there in the picture. just wanted to show how everything will be bolted together.
