Default C3 Tires

I have a 70 Ttop 350/350 which is mostly stock with the exception of composite rear spring. Has the original wheels. Would like to buy some new tires, wider than the current 225-70s. Would Goodrich 255-60 tires fit my vette without modification? Any other recommended tires? Thanks

Yes, I believe I'm running the 255 60's with no issue. I went to Goodyear and bought a set of Eagle GT II's. The initial quote was over $500. But after threatening, twice, to walk out, the price was a little under $350 out the door. That's mounted, balanced, valve stems, etc. So it pays to dicker.

And the wider tire looks a heck of a lot better than the original.

Welcome to the insanity!

255 - 60's should work fine on your car. That's what I'm using with no issues. FWIW.

Good Luck!
