Default It good to be back

Well, since the house fire back in Jan 10, My family and I have been jumping from place to place and finally moved into a rentel home until our new home is built. We were staying with my father-in-law for awhile and the only internet service I had was a dail up, after haveing DSL, dail up really sucks.

We have been waiting for our old house to be demo'ed but with all the rain we have been having, we are stlill waiting, hopfuly it will be demo in the next couple of weeks.

Had the vette in storage for awhile but she's back home now.

I missed coming to the forum and it good to be back at one of my favorite hang outs. I have alot of reading and catching up to do to see what all that I have missed.

That should keep you busy until the new house is ready. Have you had a chance to get the vette out since the weather has warmed up.

It cleared up yesterday so I took it out yesterday and today, It was stored for about a month, that was to long to be without her. I can't imagin what it would be like to live up north and be without her for several months.

Sorry to hear about your house. It will be nice when the new house is done. I have been looking at my car in the Garage for five months. I am still probably going to wait another six weeks until the roads are clean and starting to get pached.

Thanks, it's good to be back, but going to be 9 months before the house is complete. If it would just stop raining for a couple of weeks, maybe I could get it demo'd and start on the house.

I remember the thread well. Someone said it takes longer to demolish and rebuild than to start from scratch: build a new house. Perhaps they were correct. But hang in there. Things will work out!
