Wipers won't "park"
Got the vacuum door working now. Only problem is the wipers don't go into their parked position after turning them off. Then the door comes along and crushes them.
So the door is on override now. How do I get these things to go all the down?

Re: Wipers won't "park" (Jack71)
It depends on all the symptoms.
It could be the wrong wiper motor. It should have an extra power wire that is controled by the override switch (center one) and the firewall switch. This will cause door /wiper crashes.
It could be the switch adjustment on the firewall. Or it could be the interlock switch on the pass side wiper. Sounds to me (if it's the correct motor), it could be both the interlock and the firewall switch.

It could also be a bad wiper switch. Park position is established by running the wiper motor in reverse, and if the switch or wiring isn't doing this they won't go any lower then the bottom of the normal stroke.
